Exploring Jungle Scout’s Keyword Scout Tool

I began my search by using Jungle Scout’s Keyword Scout tool, which is perfect for spotting product opportunities. I was focused on finding a kitchen board for this experiment, specifically looking for a product with both high demand and low competition.

Analyzing Amazon’s Search Volume

Heading over to Amazon.com, I typed in “kitchen board” and began reviewing the search volume. Unfortunately, the results were underwhelming. The search volume wasn’t impressive, and the competition was steep. Ranking a kitchen board at this stage would be a tough battle.

Narrowing the Search: Chopping Boards and Vegetable Cutters. I shifted my focus slightly. I expanded my search to include related products like chopping boards and vegetable cutters, but the outcome wasn’t much better. Both categories had high competition and weren’t easy to break into.

Striking Gold: Wooden Chopping Boards for Kitchens Just when I was about to move on, I stumbled upon a hidden gem – Wooden Chopping Boards for Kitchen. The search volume was strong, and most importantly, it was much easier to rank for this product compared to others in the kitchen niche.

Using Jungle Scout for Validation I used Jungle Scout to validate this product, and the data was fantastic! The tool showed high demand combined with low competition, a perfect mix for anyone looking to get into the Amazon marketplace. The best part? The average seller for this product was making around $87,000 per month in revenue. This was a game-changer.
